Hello all...

Biology is a required course taught at Douglas County High School. It is necessary for you to pass this course for graduation. This course is designed to be easy for those willing to work hard. I will do my best to make this an exciting, informative course. In return, I expect nothing less than your best effort, complete cooperation, and utmost respect for your classmates and your teacher.

Attached are your class expectations. Read them carefully, for you are required to know and understand what is expected of you.

As face to face students, you must submit all assignment in the classroom, unless you are instructed to turn them in on the Google Classroom platform.
Our main source of communication will be through Google Classroom.
Please refer to Google Classroom for deadlines and due dates.

There are four BINGO Projects that are required to be completed this semester, BINGO 1, BINGO 2, BINGO 3, and BINGO 4. The BINGO Projects coincide with each of the Units we will cover in Biology. They are vocabulary based and they will help you learn your vocabulary. Biology vocabulary tends to be difficult for most Biology students because the terminology tends to be difficult. It will be in your best interest to complete each of the activities, and while doing so, learn the vocabulary to assist you as we move through each of the Units.

The vocabulary words for each BINGO activity will be found on the Google Classroom platform.

A few reminders as you complete your BINGO activities:

---Remember to title each of the activities you chose to complete.
---You must complete at least 5 activities in the BINGO charts.

---Don’t wait until the last minute to get started…GET STARTED NOW!!! These activities are time consuming. ---A well-planned project = a better grade!
---In order to receive full credit for your activities, they must be neat, legible, colorful and creative.
---Turn your BINGO in on time! Twenty (20) points will be deducted each day your project is late up to 100
