SPAN II

Digital Learning Assignments 

Day 1
*Create 25 Flashcards using current unit vocabulary sheet. Write the English vocabulary word in the back and Spanish on the front.
Day 2
Using the current chapter vocabulary and verbs write 10 sentences in Spanish. 
Day 3
Create and “Olé” sheet using current chapter vocabulary. Draw a picture to represent the vocabulary word and write the vocabulary word on the back. Must have a total of 20 boxes and only 1 “gratis” box.
Day 4
Create a crossword puzzle with 15 vocabulary words from the current unit.  Clues must be in complete sentences in Spanish.  Include both the finished puzzle and an answer key.
Day 5 
Write and illustrate a 6-10 panel comic strip using at least seven current vocabulary words and three examples of the current grammar topic.  Highlight the vocabulary and grammar examples.
Day 6 
Create a magazine ad for a Hispanic store (make up a name!).  Have 10 products for sale related to your current vocabulary unit.  Include a picture, brief description and price for each item.
Day 7
Take a familiar tune and make a song about the current grammar or vocabulary unit.  Be prepared to either sing your song OR have someone else sing it to the class. You need to turn in the lyrics. 
Day 8 
Write an e-mail to a  penpal that lives in a Spanish speaking country.  Use 12+ vocabulary words from the current unit and 3 examples of the current grammar topic.  Highlight vocabulary and grammar examples.
Day 9 
Identify 5 items at home that you do not know the Spanish word for, look up each item and label them in Spanish using a sticky note. 
Day 10
Create an "All about me" brochure include name, age, favorite food, favorite color, three things you like to do and two things that you do not like to do. 
Day 11
Using the Famous Hispanics in the USA file choose a person and research the following; Full name, place of birth, place of residence, reason they are famous, and the difference they make in the community.
Day 12
Read Quinceanera and complete the attached fill in the blank and Venn Diagram.
Day 13
After reading Ancient Cultures of Mexico and Peru PPT. complete the attached assignment
Day 14
La tomatina is a festival celebrated in Spain in which tomatoes play a big role. Find out what this festival entails by reading the PPT and later write  10 sentences in Spanish summarizing this celebration include if you would like to be a part of it.
