The Counseling Department at Douglas County High School provides a comprehensive, data-informed program that empowers students to reach their maximum potential academically, personally, and emotionally. The Counseling Department advocates, inspires, and prepares students to become college and career ready by giving them the relevant learning opportunities to access the knowledge, skills and attitudes to be lifetime learners. Our Counseling team creates a safe and supportive environment that fosters student resilience. We collaborate with all stakeholders to advocate for equity, access and success for all of our students.
