DCHS Theater Troup Presents: The Play that Goes Wrong
A standing ovation to Mr. Justin Stephens, the sponsor of the DCHS Theater Club, for orchestrating a phenomenal show this past weekend!
From mystery to belly-aching comedy, laced with a little bit of drama, the stage came alive with an array of captivating performances. We're fortunate to have such a gifted ensemble of thespians gracing our school community. A heartfelt thank you to all the dedicated parents who contributed their time and efforts, from selling tickets and manning the concession stand to crafting props and tirelessly supporting their scholars in mastering their lines.
To the talented cast and crew, congratulations on a spectacular performance. As the curtains closed on our final night, a wave of emotions swept over us, leaving many of us adorned with tears. For our seniors, this wasn't just the end of another performance; it marked the culmination of their journey with the entire troupe.
Congratulations to the DCHS Concert Band for their performance at Large Group Performance Evaluation. The Concert Band received overall ratings of “Excellent” on a Grade III/IV concert.

DCHS Students Participate in Law Day
Law Day provided an invaluable opportunity for 25 high school students to delve into the intricacies of workplace laws at the US Department of Labor. 16 DCHS high school students seized the chance to participate, showcasing their enthusiasm for legal education.
Highlighting the event was a flyer contest centered on child labor in the United States. Alicia Brown (pictured second from right) emerged as the winner of the contest for her powerful message and imagery.
Congratulations to Alicia and all participants for their dedication and passion to learn about crucial legal issues facing our nation. Nicole Spain, Esq. said, "I cannot thank you enough for ensuring your students had the opportunity to participate in this event. They asked poignant questions, and were engaged the entire day. They were simply a joy to host."
