Since opening as the county's first high school, Douglas County High School has been a pillar of the community with a rich history and commitment to excellence in education. Conveniently located on Campbellton Road in the Douglas County Historic District, our school is situated less than a mile from downtown Douglasville, fostering a strong connection with the heart of the city. With the distinction of being the largest high school in Douglas County in terms of enrollment, we proudly compete in Region 5AAAAAA for athletics and activities.

DCHS prides itself on providing a wide range of classes to ensure that every student has access to a well-rounded education. In 2006-2007, Douglas County High School began offering the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) program.
