Ever wondered what life is like in the Ivy League at Yale University?
Our very own DCHS alumnus and Class of 2025 Valedictorian, Mason Mifflin, returned to campus to offer an inspiring glimpse into his journey and share words of wisdom with our IB Diploma Programme Year 1 and Year 2 students.
During his visit, Mason engaged students in a meaningful discussion about the college application process and provided insight into academic life at Yale. Students asked thoughtful questions on topics ranging from coursework and campus life to financial aid and opportunities for support.
Mason also spent time in an AP Human Geography class, where he illustrated how the skills developed in the classroom extend far beyond high school. By connecting course concepts to real-world experiences, he helped students better understand the lasting value of their learning.
We are proud to welcome Mason back home and grateful for the impact he continues to make on our Tiger scholars. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger.
